Modifying the Front Mustang Control Arm

[RT] "I used a air die grinder with a carbide tip. You can get a die grinder for about $25 from places like Harbor Freight. You can also use a dremil tool with the little abrasive discs. Or if you got more time then tools a rat tail file."

[WC] "I used my multipurpose tool of destruction, a 4" angle grinder with a cut-off wheel. About 2 minutes per arm."

[JE] "I drilled a 1/2" hole in the bottom of the spring seat area then used a 1" C-bore with a 1/2"pilot to enlarge the hole. I then cut the remaining material with a hack saw.I also didn't like the sloppy big hole to mount the lower coil over bracket, so I made a shoulder washer to take up the slop."
