| How
to post pictures to the FFCobra Forum
Credit goes to John at www.My427SC.com
for his help in explaining this on his website. (By the way,
he has a great site, go check it out!)
In order to post a picture to FFCobra.com you will need to you
need to store the photo somewhere on the Internet that anyone has
unrestricted access to. A lot of people are using ClubPhoto
which is a free service and works great for this purpose. So, the
first thing you need to do is go to www.clubphoto.com,
and open up an account.
Once you have done that, you are ready to go. Create a new album
and upload the photo(s) that you want to post on the forum. The
tricky part is finding the complete Internet address for each photo,
so that the photo will be properly displayed in your post. The
easiest way to do this is to go to the album where the photo is
located, and click on the that you want:

Click on a photo and the photo will open in a new page, which
should look like this:

To get to the complete Internet address, right click on the
picture, and select "Properties".

You will now see the complete address for where this photo is
located.

In the example above, the address that we are after is:
http://a8.cpimg.com/image/AC/CB/2760108-81e1-02000155-.jpg
You need to copy this address and paste into your post. There are
a couple of ways to do it. The easiest way is to click on the
address with your mouse and drag the whole address. The whole line should turn blue. Then
either right click and select "copy" from the pop up menu,
or use the CTRL key and at the same
time the "C" key on the
keyboard. Either way, the address will be copied into your
computer's memory.
Either start a new post or
reply to an existing one. Once you get to the point where you want
to display your photo, click on the IMAGE button which you
should find at the bottom of the page. A small window should pop up,
with the instructions Enter the complete URL for the image you
wish to display. This is where you paste the address that you
have captured from the steps above. They have already started the http://
for you, but all you need to do is use CTRL
and at the same time the "V"
key to paste the address - it should over write it, but make sure
you do not have two "http://"
If it didn't work, you probably did not copy the address
correctly. Again you should see something like http://a8.cpimg.com/image/AC/CB/2760108-81e1-02000155-.jpg
on that line. When your satisfied, hit the ok button and you should
be done.
