July 2003 - Picture of the Month

First, the pictures were taken on top of our parking garage in downtown Columbus, Ohio. Car was complete by me, engine, trans, bodywork and paint. Paint is House of Kolor Burple. It is FFR # 2680 and was picked up at FFR with a U-Haul trailer April 21,2001. It has a 302 engine rebult by me, world class t-5 trans, all new fuel injection from Ford Racing, Painless 18 circuit harness, live 3:55 rear axle, heater (one of the best options), Flaming River 15:1 rack, Roadster R rims with Kumho tires, clear anodized panels. I planned on a one year build, it took two. Luckily I live close to the DV Spring Fling so I have attended the last two years. Last year the car was still in gel coat with cleco's holding in the dash. Our daughter helped work on the car. Mostly little things like durability testing of the steering wheel. She loves riding in the Roadster. I think a lot if it is because we usually stop a Dairy Queen for ice cream.
