Recently, the Memphis Belle was flying through and blew an engine. They landed at one of our local small airports and have been here for a few weeks while they changed the engine out. They're leaving Monday so today, I took a photo opportunity that I won't ever get again.

The weather was beautiful and being a local pilot that sometimes flies out of that airport, I have ramp privileges there. I can come and go as I like so it worked out perfect.

This particular B-17 is actually a replica of the real Memphis Belle that is being restored for the Air and Space Museum. So, it's sort of fitting that my FFR and the B-17 are both replicas!
