Just a plain old attached 2-bay. But it's not the garage, but what's in it...

Herb, nice stable there. WOW, you Momma must have been strict when you were a child. That is the most organized garage I've seen to date.
Oh, and that Ferrari looks mint. What kinda wax do you use? That shine really pops!!!

I must be living wrong? Some of the Mansions you guys call a garage is just not right. With my little 24x24 shop I feel some what inadequate after seeing these.

Same here, they make mine look like a garden shed! And I've got a little over 900sqft.
Big Easy, Nice shop, not big but very tidy. I like it.
Oh yeah, the best tool is the tap for the keg!

I wish I had a garage, so I don't have to build my cobra in the driveway....
J/k I have a garge, it's a tinny 2 car garage. I live in phoenix and my house was built almost 2 years, when the house prices shot up. Let just say my garage is my next door neighbor's fence and hers is my fence. Yes, our houses are touching.

It's not just a tap - it's a kegarator.
More commonly known as the "marriage survival tool"

Here's what I built the first roadster in. 13.5 wide by 18 deep. No insulation, no heat and a 15 amp service.
Here's what it looked like 3 weeks ago.
The new palace! 20 wide by 18 deep, which is the largest the zoning board and my wife would let me build. Hope to be done by mid January.

Some very impressive garages. Perhaps one day I will have the means to build a dedicated building with multiple bays. I pass up on great restoration opportunities all the time because I simply do not have anywhere to do them.
Anyway, here is my simple two car garage space, decorated to be my "car guy man cave". These shots were taken recently while the Cobra was undergoing some maintenance.

I've got about a 1000 sq. ft of attached garage... and then probably another800 sq. in the basement for my workshop. The problem is that there is no direct connection.... only entrance to basement is from middle of house.
So... the general plan is for a 40x60 detached....a complete man cave but including a "pool change room" .... I think I need that to get the wife buy-in. Hope to build in 09.

Jay, actually your right. The cobra graphic came with my architectural plug in software for AutoCAD.
Kevin, 40 x 60 now that's a real man cave. I see your into woodworking too. Got any neat projects planned? Oh and by the way, great web site. I've visited it many times.

John: Well.... the car has been consuming a pile of my "free" time so I have almost completely forgot about woodworking for the past few years.
My next woodworking project is actually not a project at all. I want to master the art of making handcut dovetails...so I basically plan to make a bunch of small boxes.... secondly I want to learn how to do stained glass ... hope to take a class in the new year ...... the idea is too somehow meld the two ... perhaps "frank-loyd" like lamps.
Thanks for the website comments.... another thing that takes time......

This garage is perfect for a number of reasons. It's not mine, it is my brother's and he lives about 3 miles from me. Not too far, but my wife will never show up there. It has everything I need to work on the Cobra, an awesome stereo (he works for Crown - you audiophiles will recognize the name), heat, air, a floor that can get as dirty as you want, great posters on the walls, a HUGE Playboy collection, all the cardboard you can use (who needs a dolly?), a small machine shop in the back, and hundreds of drawers of nuts, bolts, do-hickies and whatchamacallits. I can ash my cigars right on the floor! The only down side for me is that my brother is a staunch bow tie man, so not many Ford parts around. He has a 66 Chevelle SS 396 (real - not a clone) and a 69 350 El Camino. His lone Ford is a 4x4 that used to belong to Ted Nugent (it's a dog, but it has Terrible Ted's ranch logo on the tailgate). I'm not going to show you my garage, because it is so clean, neat and bland that it is almost embarassing!

Mine is boring compared to some of the others, but the new flooring I just installed from Costco definitely helps.

NO WAY I am going to show you my garage. After all these pics of garages that you can eat off the floor. I think I have a floor!
I have out grown my garage twice. I even have a knock out in the back so the boat outdrive can stick thru the wall and I can close the door with the boat in the garage.
I guess after 20+ years, I have had alot of time to collect a lot of treasures. But i just can't seem to part with any of them, even though I don't use them anymore.
