Hallmark Ford Shelby Show
Just a reminder about the Shelby/Mustang show at Hallmark Ford in Surrey this August 3rd--Monday. Usually a good showing of the local crew and lot's of cool cars.
How many are going to attend?

I'll be there but questioning the wisdom given the heat ... hanging around a parking lot with cool cars doesn't translate into a cool experience when the temperature is close to 35°C.

Rod,
Have to say I was thinking the same thing but they are forecasting a frigid 28 degrees for Monday 
That's such a huge drop from these record temperatures we may need jackets

Those forecasts are never accurate for downtown Surrey where trees have all been murdered, pavement prevails and the temp is always higher. Bring lots of water and sun screen.
HERE is a video of last years show, Please don't assume everyone is like the low-life Surrey Mustang burnout freaks. About 4 minutes into the video there is a shot of Frank's and my FFR ... before everyone arrived.

My friend with the CAV GT 40 had to have his car towed home 
The gearbox got stuck in first. He tells me this is a well known issue with the ZF's. If the car is pushed forward while in gear the thing locks up. Quite a procedure to get in unstuck too, requires some disassembly.
The price you pay for driving a race car.
