Going to the 2006 Intermot Motorcycle Show in Koln Germany
Day 1 - After flying 9 hours and arriving in Dusseldorf, we rented a car to drive 40 miles to Koln (Cologne). After getting to the hotel at 9:30 am they told us our rooms wouldn't be ready until noon. We didn't sleep on the plane and were pretty tired, but the map said The famous NÜRBURGRING was just this far ---------- on the map; so we headed to The Ring; fully loaded with 6 bags in the trunk and no sleep. We did two laps and had a blast. A local, driving a hopped-up Honda Civic, said it takes 200 laps to memorize the track and I can believe it! What a great day.
